A university’s beer-making program just got a big cash infusion from one of the nation’s most popular craft brewing companies. New Belgium Brewing Company, which makes the popular Fat Tire beer, and CEO Kim Jordan will each donate $1 million to Colorado State University’s fermentation sciences department in Fort Collins, Colo. The program trains undergraduate students to brew beer.
